About the Job
Ice Control Specialists are responsible for applying anti-ice liquids up to 3-days in advance of a storm. They also perform snow push-backs at the completion of every storm. In addition, they need to be available on a nightly basis for ice watch for black ice or re-freeze conditions. They generally will not work during the actual snowstorm, unless additional personnel are needed. All Ice Control Specialists must have a minimum of 3 years of commercial experience operating a plow truck or salter.
This job can earn you a fixed rate of $28 an hour.
Expectations
We are seeking passionate, hard-working candidates to be our on-call snow removal operators.
Must be available and willing to work at any hour between October 30th and the last snowstorm of the season. Shifts vary depending on the size of the storm and can be anywhere from 6-hours to more than 12-hours long.
Have the ability to work well with other team members to efficiently and safely complete each assignment.
