It’s been an exciting week here at Xtreme Snow Pros! Three members from our management team have received Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA) accreditation, further legitimizing their expertise in the world of snow and ice removal. Our own Chris Marino, Owner, Glenn Kramer, Operations Manager, and Joe Capobianco Jr., Business Developer, have earned their Advanced Snow Manager (ASM) designation.

At Xtreme Snow Pros, we are always committed to providing high-quality, dependable, and affordable winter weather management services. With over 30 years of experience in the snow and ice removal business, Xtreme Snow Pros provides every client with affordable, worry-free snow management solutions. Their accounts include retail establishments, corporate office buildings, healthcare facilities, apartment complexes, and homeowner associations.

As such, our management team is constantly completing new course and credits to further advance their knowledge of the industry we know and love. With dangerous wintery weather causing thousands of people to crash throughout Northeast winters ever year, the Xtreme Snow Pros team knows it’s possible for us all to navigate the blustery weather in a safe and smart manner.

Now proudly the recipients of ASM designations, these three gentleman bring with them to the table:

● Serious training – Building an effective, quality training program for snow operations is challenging. SIMA has made it easy to create consistent, reliable training for operations managers and operators.

● Stronger people – Strength of service is only as good as the people who power it. The ASM program helps build confidence and leadership and empowers snow personnel to become more efficient and knowledgeable during snow events.

● Safer operations – ASM focuses on creating a culture that rewards safety and seeks to reduce the chance of injuries, and service failure. This includes standardized methods of organizing and documenting work that occurs onsite.

And the list goes on. Having completed the program, each person completed four certificate courses: Core Principles, Plowing Operations, Sidewalk Operations, and Ice Management. Individuals complete the courses, and then take a quiz to assess knowledge. Those who earn all four certificates receive the ASM designation, an official training credential from SIMA.

We are incredibly proud of our management team here at Xtreme Snow Pros, and we are even prouder to have three leading figures with ASM designation as we move forward.
