Xtreme Snow Pros Adds Additional Machines to Meet Mounting Client Demand

JCB (1).jpg

It’s no secret that the 2018 winter season has been a fun but a rough one too. It could potentially go on for another month, but reflecting on the last 5-months, it has been a winter that many will forever remember. As the winter weather, snow, ice, and other dangerous materials fell from the sky, more and more business owners reached out to us, looking for our commercial property support. Personal injury lawsuits can break a business, and we work to ensure that everyone is happy and safe on commercial properties, starting with our proprietary winter weather clearing services and of course, machines.

In order to keep up with the mounting demand, we proudly added new machines to our Xtreme Snow Pros fleet this winter. We are firm believers in owning our own equipment, running everything ourselves, in-house, to ensure our 24-7 commitment and support is guaranteed without having to rely on some other company. We don’t rent our equipment. We go out and buy it, managing every part and inspecting the machines weekly to ensure they will perform when performance really counts.

JCB Loaders

To answer the call, our team bought a large amount of JCB loaders, both of the medium and large duty sizes, to help cover every property in our service region. JCB even flew our owner, Chris Marino, down to look at the machines in person, analyzing if they were the right fit for our fleet. Chris was able to work with JCB, collaborate, and really mull over options before the right machines were selected.

JCB has been an incredible company to work with, always showing their support for our operation and supplying us with top quality equipment that will never falter or succumb to the intimidating winter weather. We have purchased dozens of machines from their operation over the past few years, and intend to do so during the coming years.

Chris proudly brought back our new JCBs to rev up our offerings and expand our clientele. It can be hard to predict what kind of winter lies ahead, but it’s always better to be safe rather than sorry. Although you might be tired of the cold, sleet, wind, and snow, it can come out of left field and leave everyone off guard. We take care of your commercial property so you can focus on what really counts: running your business and improving revenue. One of the best ways to do that is to circumvent personal injury lawsuits, which is what we can guarantee with our 24-7 winter clearing support and technological infrastructure that gives us live updates of wintry conditions.

Our team is here to support you.

Xtreme Snow Pros Takes Part in West Milford Autumn Lights Festival

As a snow and ice clearing company that’s about more than just our services, we work hard to integrate ourselves into the incredible communities that we support today. Having just bought property in West Milford, we’ve been working hard to acquaint ourselves with the community members and really get to know the people and businesses that make up the backbone of the West Milford community.

Expanding our servicing area into a new region in 2018 has our team very excited, and we can’t wait to mingle even more with the West Milford community heading into the future.

The West Milford Autumn Lights Festival

This past October, our Xtreme Snow Pros team took part in the West Milford Autumn Lights Festival: 23rd Annual Celebration of West Milford. As a celebration that is very important to the community, and one that has been going on for 23-years, we were very excited to be part of the event and introduce our team, our values and our services to all those in attendance. Taking place from 10AM until 5PM on Saturday, October 14th, over 250 vendors, children’s entertainment companies, and rides were available to the friends and families at the celebration.

Starting at 10AM, the Character Parade, where children and parents paraded at the triangle starting at the Shoprite, presented kids and parents with the opportunity to sport their Halloween costumes. Princess Bella, Princess Poppy, Batman, Big Red Dog, and Blue Karate Turtle led the excursion, finishing just 1-hour later.

The Xtreme Snow Pros team took part in the daily festivities, bringing along their HET as well as several other pieces of equipment that they showcased and discussed with all interested viewers. Children were able to see the pieces up close and personal, spending time to learn about what our team does during the dangerous winter months. Working hard to network with everyone who stopped by, we had some awesome conversations with parents, students, and children thinking about going into a career of winter weather clearing and removal. To inspire that kind of excitement was really rewarding for our team.

Xtreme Snow Pros in 2018

As we head into the new year, we are planning to immerse ourselves in even more community activities, showing all of our clients that we are a transparent operation. We’d be nothing without the communities we serve, and we want to integrate our services and support into every local business that shows interest. Stay safe for the remainder of the 2018 winter, and consider what winter weather removal services can do for the longevity of your company

Xtreme Snow Pros Attends The 2017 ASCA Executive Summit

We had the pleasure of attending this year’s Accredited Snow Contractors Association Executive Summit, held from August 2 to the 4th at the Grand Summit Hotel in Park City, Utah. Constantly looking for opportunities to learn more about our industry and best snow and ice management practices for clients, the ASCA Executive Summit is always a wealth of information regarding every winter weather management requirement.

As an annual conference that is focused on the business needs of the snow industry, the ASCA Executive Summit always brings in dynamic speakers to discuss the industry and how participants can improve their respective business operations. This year’s summit addressed the business management topics that every business faces how to better communicate with employees, increase bottom lines, and reach potential customers.

Event Sessions

This year, we had access to high-level education that focused on the economy, sales and marketing, lawsuit and protection, and culture building of the snow and ice removal industries. Sessions we attended included the U.S. Economy and How It Will Impact Small Business, which looked at present and future factors that will have an impact on how we operate in New Jersey and New York; How to Become the Wikipedia of Your Industry to Build Your Brand Business, which looked at building online trust with consumers and how this kind of branding can position a business as the go-to option; Lawsuit Protection for Both Your Personal & Business Assets, which was a hands-on presentation that focused on asset protection for business owners and key employees; and The Practical and Sustainable Way to Build a High-Performance Culture, which taught us how to create the culture we want to have at Xtreme Snow Pros.

In addition to the high-quality talks and workshops, the Executive Summit also hosted Snow Magazine’s annual Leadership Awards and Top 100 ceremony, awards of which Xtreme Snow Pros were able to take home. The awards ceremony recognized snow industry professionals for their leadership within the industry as well as within their own personal organization.

Like every ASCA event, our team was met with an abundance of new information that our executive team is already integrating into our structure. They plan to adopt new management practices and refined equipment for expediting all of our processes this winter.

Yes, We Work During The Summers Too

Naturally, many people wonder what a snow removal and ice management company does during the hot summer months. Obviously, there isn’t any snow to clear or impending ice storms that need monitoring. Believe it or not, we are just as busy during the middle of July as we are in December. A company as in-depth and careful as ours has constant overhead, information, and management requirements to make sure we are in tip-top shape and ready to hit the roads come the first Northeastern snowfall (which can be as early as October).

If you’re one of those people wondering what we’re up to right now, stick around and we’ll go through some of our regular upkeep tasks:

- General Preventative Maintenance on All Equipment

We deal with heavy-duty equipment, plows, and machinery here at Xtreme Snow Pros. As such, this equipment needs some tender love and care when it’s not in use. We go through our entire inventory, keep count, and oversee cleaning and repairs for anything that needs it. That means equipment, trucks, machines, and anything in-between. It’s a tedious task, but one we don’t mind, as it’s essential for our winter performance.

- Conventions and Workshops

In order to be at the top of our game, we need to constantly study up on the industry’s latest trends and developments. Although we have dozens of accreditations to our name today, there are constantly new tests and courses for us to complete. This is the most essential part of our operation. Without education, we’d fall fast behind the competition.

- Assess Training Process

In order to join our Xtreme Team, we require applicants and staff to undergo serious training, both inside and outside of the classroom. Not everyone has what it takes to join our team, which is why we put a lot of time into our training and hiring processes. From the initial application to the real-world scenarios we put our students through, we make sure they’re ready to go by the end of it all. During the summer, we sit down as a team and go over the exact criteria for hiring new staff. It’s a constant process for us.

- Sales Marketing

Sales and marketing are ever-changing necessities for a business today. With social media, content marketing, and email marketing being incredibly popular right now, we make sure that our sales efforts are targeting the right people at the right time. As a commercial snow and ice management company, we are always looking for new clients in the New York and New Jersey corridor.

- Vacation?

We’re only humans, too. A lot of us go on vacation during the hot summer months. When most people are in Disney World during their kid’s February or April school breaks, we’re hitting the roads all night and all day. Right now is the perfect time for us to enjoy a little break from the hustle and bustle.

Xtreme Snow Pros participates in Ridgewood's 2016 4th of July Parade

This past summer, Xtreme Snow Pros was proud to have been part of the local Ridgewood community’s 4th of July celebration. As a community-oriented business venture dedicated to ensuring all local business owners have access to affordable and reliable snow and ice clearing services during winter, Xtreme Snow Pros jumped at the opportunity to pull their own float through the parade this past summer.

Participating with three of their trucks and trailers that carried a Yankee Doodle Dandy Float with a full band, it was hard to miss Xtreme Snow Pros’ patriotism down the parade route for the community’s 2016 parade celebration. Many members of the Xtreme team were able to join in the festivities, both by helping coordinate the float and truck driving, as well as spectating with family for a full day of Ridgewood community bonding. It was one of the best turnouts the parade has ever had, as there was perfect weather with crystal blue skies above.

Chris Marino and his wife, as a way to provide steady community support and access to safe winter clearing services during the year’s most taxing months, founded Xtreme Snow Pros in Mahwah, New Jersey a nine years ago. Since then, the Xtreme Snow Pros brand has spawned two other companies in The Xtreme Group in Mahwah, New Jersey.

Snow and unpredictable winter weather is a major part of New Jersey and New York living for half of the year, which is why investing in professional and reliable snow clearing and ice removal services is absolutely essential for local businesses. Without Xtreme’s services, businesses face open lawsuits for personal injury and other injury-related debacles as a result of un-cleared winter weather.

In order to stay ahead of the unpredictable winter weather, Xtreme utilizes the latest technology to offer real-time weather monitoring and GPS tracking of crew members with client portal access. They use state-of-the-art equipment and advanced products for ensuring the most convenient and efficient commercial snow clearing available today. All of their properties are measured electronically, and they take extreme care to fix all grass and curb damage when springtime arrives.

Unlike other winter clearing companies, Xtreme is intent on giving back both to the community and the environment. They honor the environment through the use of special pushers and plows that greatly reduce salt usage with LiveEdge Technology. Additionally, to get a full scope of their work in action, they utilize remote webcams to monitor live weather conditions and property shapes and sizes.

Cognizant of the fact that they would have no business if it weren’t for their loyal commercial patrons in the greater Mahwah and New York City region, Xtreme is a highly active local company, jumping at the opportunity to volunteer and give back as frequently as possible. Their 4th of July showing was just one of many planned community events for the upcoming year, and the full-service snow removal company is intent on participating again in the 2017 Ridgewood 4th of July parade.
